This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, public sector expertise, and complex deal execution across highly regulated environments. You will help shape and drive go-to-market approaches tailored to government and other regulated buyers, where procurement cycles are long, multi-layered, and highly structured. The position plays a key role in bringing clarity to ambiguity, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and enabling scalable commercial growth. You will act as a trusted advisor on public sector contracting, influencing pricing, packaging, and deal structures. Working closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, and external partners, you will help streamline execution across strategic opportunities. This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role suited to someone who thrives in complexity and enjoys turning structure into scalable outcomes.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will define and execute commercial strategies for public sector and regulated markets, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and consistency in deal execution. You will operate as a subject matter expert on government procurement processes while helping teams navigate complexity and accelerate outcomes.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for U.S. public sector and regulated customers, including Federal, State & Local, and Education segments
- Guide teams through complex procurement processes such as RFPs/RFQs and contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA, IDIQs, BPAs)
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, and Operations to align commercial execution and resolve cross-functional dependencies
- Advise on pricing, packaging, and contract structures for complex and high-value deals
- Support distributor and channel partners (e.g., Carahsoft and similar resellers) to improve deal flow and execution efficiency
- Build scalable processes for intake, prioritization, and execution of commercial requests
- Use data, insights, and performance metrics to refine strategy and improve outcomes
- Contribute to global public sector expansion by sharing best practices and supporting international opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 6+ years of experience in commercial strategy, sales operations, public sector contracting, or procurement
- Strong expertise in U.S. public sector procurement (Federal, State & Local, Education)
- Experience working with contracting vehicles and public procurement frameworks (e.g., GSA, IDIQs, BPAs)
- Proven ability to navigate complex, regulated, and ambiguous environments
- Experience collaborating with channel/distributor partners (e.g., Carahsoft, CDW-G, SHI)
- Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Experience in SaaS, technology, or other regulated industries preferred
- Exposure to global public sector markets is a plus
- MBA or equivalent experience (or legal background) is a plus
- Competitive U.S. salary range: $106,000 – $172,000
- Annual discretionary bonus eligibility
