This is a remote role.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex Software system
- Acquire extensive business and system knowledge
- Apply system knowledge to diagnose and fix complex problems
- Perform requirements analysis, design, peer reviews and documentation
- Provide reliable estimates of effort and good identification of risks
- Apply sound software engineering processes, including iterative development, unit testing, source code control, inspections and reviews
- Stay current with technology and industry best practices
- Strong .NET/C# skills
- Strong relational database skills including proficiency in SQL, stored procedures and database architecture (MSSQL 2008 or higher)
- Microsoft SQL skills
- Exposure to Azure DevOps
- Object oriented programming principals
- Must be self-directed, analytical, adept to problem solving, and have a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality products under tight and strict deadlines
- Good spoken and written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- 7+ years developing software using the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred
- C#
- T-SQL (including complex queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers)
- ASP.NET MVC
- Git (or other Source Control Provider)
- Azure Functions
- Experience using Copilot (or another AI Agent) as part of the development lifecycle.
- Additional Preferred Experience:
- Experience with BMAD Agents for Greenfield and Brownfield development or other AI-assisted development tools
- AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap
- Experience with Dependency Injection and IoC Containers
- Experience with ORMs (Dapper, Entity Framework)
- Experience in insurance, healthcare, or risk management
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $97,019 - $163,027
