- Translate business requirements into technical architecture, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead engineering standards for code quality, performance, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
- Provide hands-on contribution for critical components (proofs-of-concept, core services, pipelines, LLM orchestration).
- Data engineering & database expertise
- Design and optimise data models, schemas, and query patterns for analytical and operational workloads.
- Build and maintain data pipelines that are reliable, scalable, and auditable.
- Apply strong SQL and database fundamentals (partitioning, indexing concepts, query optimisation, data lineage).
- GCP-based implementation (hands-on)
- Build solutions using GCP services such as:
- BigQuery (data warehousing, optimisation, governance patterns)
- Pub/Sub (event-driven ingestion and streaming patterns)
- Cloud Composer / Airflow (workflow orchestration, scheduling, dependency management)
- (Nice to have) Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Run/GKE, Secret Manager, IAM, Vertex AI
