Your Bite-size Role

Power 4 All, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of our BESS solutionsfrom market research and conceptualization to launch and post-market performance optimization. You will drive innovation, ensuring our products align with market demands, industry standards, and technological advancements.

This position requires deep expertise in energy storage technologies, customer needs, regulatory frameworks, and emerging trends in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and business development teams to ensure our BESS products meet customer requirements and strategic business goals.

Your Role Has a Wide Range Of Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining and executing the product roadmap for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in line with Power 4 Alls strategic goals.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Support new product development (NPD) initiatives, contributing to feasibility analysis, technical specifications, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Act as the technical expert and primary point of contact for customers, providing product-related guidance, addressing queries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, including regular product updates, troubleshooting, and end-of-life management.
  • Work closely with Business Development (BD) or Research and Development (R&D) Quality Assurance (QA), and engineering teams to develop innovative, cost-effective, and high-performance storage solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support for product optimization and improvements based on performance metrics and customer feedback.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory requirements in the renewable energy and energy storage sectors and incorporate them into product development.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations, standards, and certifications in the energy storage industry, ensuring all products are compliant.
  • Develop and maintain clear and comprehensive product documentation, including datasheets, technical specifications, and user guides.

Who We Need For The High-performance Team

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related technical field. A Masters degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), renewable energy, power systems, or a similar technical domain.
  • Experience with energy management systems (EMS), power electronics, and system optimization in the context of large-scale storage applications.
  • Strong capability in market research, product lifecycle management, and competitive analysis, including the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product teams, engineering, sales, and operations to bring solutions to market and support customer needs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies, industry certifications, and environmental standards is an advantage.
