Assistant District Attorney - Manitowoc County

This Assistant District Attorney position is a full-time position to be filled in the District Attorney’s Office for Manitowoc County, located in Manitowoc, WI. This is a State position in the unclassified service.

Manitowoc County is centrally located on I-43 about an hour from downtown Milwaukee, a little over an hour from Door County and about 30 minutes from Green Bay. It is right on Lake Michigan with plenty of outdoor activities and is the home of Cedar Crest Ice Cream. Manitowoc County also has quality schools and family activities.

Salary Information

The starting salary for the position will be $78,686 annually ($37.83 per hour).

Job Details

Attorneys who are currently employed by the State of Wisconsin are invited to apply and may be able to transfer at their current pay rate. Attorneys who have left the position of Wisconsin elected District Attorney or Assistant District Attorney within the last five years may be able to be hired at a wage rate above the minimum.

Qualifications

Only attorneys who have been admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin may be hired.
