What You Will Do
As a Senior Managing Consultant - Business and Technology EU, you will work on various energy transition-related topics and projects, by focusing on the challenges faced by companies in the energy sector in the Netherlands or across Europe.
On a day to day basis you will:
- Support clients in achieving their sustainability goals by leveraging new technologies and digitalisation opportunities.
- Drive business and technology transformations across organizations, processes, data, and technology systems.
- Coach and manage other consultants, help them navigate through complex situations.
- Work on knowledge creation, by developing and sharing insights with our customers or at events and conferences.
- Build and nurture a network, identify new opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to drive them forward.
- University Master’s degree in a technical, science, or business discipline with excellent grades
- 7- 9+ years of working experience in consulting and/or knowledge of electricity and gas markets
- Sharp analytical skills, which include forward and creative thinking
- Excellent communication skills, able to listen to and collaborate across both business stakeholders and technical teams, including IT vendors and client IT departments
- Professional fluency in English (minimum C1). Fluency in German (C2) strongly preferred
- International experience, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong organisational capabilities
- Familiarity with change-management frameworks, IT architecture, energy-management systems, data analytics, robotic-process automation, AI/ML applications in energy, and cybersecurity in energy systems is an advantage
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Prince2, IPMA or equivalent project management certification, preferably Agile/Scrum methodology
- ITIL Foundation or system integration related certifications
