Responsibilities:
- Partner with fintech founders to define their market positioning through a structured discovery process that includes ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) definition, customer research, and direct customer engagement
- Lead customer interviews and feedback sessions to validate positioning hypotheses and uncover key insights that inform messaging strategy
- Develop foundational messaging frameworks and brand narratives for early-stage companies, including those in stealth mode
- Write compelling marketing assets across all formats: web copy, pitch decks, sales collateral, blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and more
- Lead end-to-end GTM strategy and execution for fintech launches and product releases
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans spanning digital channels, industry events, speaking opportunities, and social media
- Drive coordinated PR and launch campaigns designed to generate brand awareness and market momentum
- Secure and prepare founders for speaking engagements at key industry conferences and events
- Build and execute social media strategies that establish founder and company thought leadership
- Own and elevate Team8's fintech brand presence across all touchpoints—content, events, partnerships, and thought leadership
- Write and create high-impact content that showcases Team8's company-building theses, partner expertise, and portfolio success stories (editorials, reports, surveys, infographics, event programming)
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships that amplify Team8's fintech positioning and market influence
- Plan and execute fintech-focused events that establish Team8 as a category leader
- Stay ahead of fintech trends and regulatory developments to inform messaging and thought leadership
- 5+ years of Fintech/Financial Services/Enterprise Technology marketing experience - preferably in product marketing or content marketing
- Professional marketing experience in the US banking system is an advantage
- Demonstrated track record of working across multiple teams and developing successful marketing plans and thought leadership programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong project management skills and excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of successfully launching, managing, and growing commercial software products
- BS/BA degree required.
