Job Description & Position Responsibilities
Penta Research is seeking candidates to join our Next Generation Interceptor team supporting the Lockheed Martin customer. The candidate will work full-time onsite supporting the flight software team supporting full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, object oriented software design, development and test and integration.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or related field from accredited university
- Proficient in C++, object oriented design
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Understanding of software development practices and software process
- Experience with Git, DevOps, Linux
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficient with standard office computer software (Microsoft® Office®)
- 4+ years related experience
- Master’s degree in software engineering or related field from accredited university
- 8+ years relevant experience
- Experience with development in VxWorks or similar RTOS
- Experience with Embedded Systems
- Experience with flight software or large/complex system simulations
- Full development lifecycle experience
- Position location: Huntsville, AL. No travel is required for this position.
