NPD & Site Co-ordinator (ACE)

Location: ACE, Corby (site-based)

Hours: 37.5 per week, 08:30–16:30


We are looking for an organised, customer-focused NPD & Site Co-ordinator to support our NPD sampling operation and key site activities at ACE. You’ll play a central role in ensuring customer samples and supporting documentation are produced, packed and shipped accurately and on time while also helping the site run smoothly through essential admin and H&S support.


What you’ll be doing
  • Co-ordinate customer sample requests via SharePoint, prioritising daily workload to meet required-by dates
  • Track shipments, communicate changes/risks, and investigate issues (e.g., lost shipments) with stakeholders
  • Prepare and control sample paperwork: specifications, SDS, handling sheets, certificates, labels, submission forms
  • Arrange shipping via couriers where handling/timelines require it, coordinating export documentation with Customer Service when needed
  • Process courier invoices to ensure correct cost centre allocation
  • Raise and manage stock-related requests (finished products, flour orders, short-notice raw material requests) with Warehouse/Supply Chain
  • Order site sundries (PPE, stationery, cleaning supplies, test kits, refreshments) and source ad-hoc items as required
  • Maintain the NPD Training Matrix and ensure training records are current, scanned and stored correctly in SharePoint
  • Support site H&S and environmental admin: monthly reports, meter readings, safety walk calendar, SHER meeting minutes and defect/action tracking
  • Run reports on sample requests to support capability review and continuous improvement
  • Provide reception liaison for deliveries/collections and manage pool car keys/fuel cards (admin only)


Who you’ll work with

NPD Team, Commercial Team, Customer Service, Operations/Warehouse and Supply Chain.


What we’re looking for

Essential

  • 3+ years’ experience in a co-ordinator type role (operations, supply chain, lab/NPD support, customer service or similar)
  • Strong IT skills and confidence working in structured systems (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Able to plan, prioritise and organise multiple requests with changing deadlines
  • Clear, confident communicator with a strong customer focus and attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated, dependable and comfortable working both independently and in a team


Desirable

  • Experience in a food manufacturing / food NPD environment
  • Experience taking minutes and tracking actions
  • Good awareness of Health & Safety and Food Safety
