Responsibilities
- Receive materials in accordance with approved procedure. Dispense parts and equipment for maintenance employees.
- Dispense parts and equipment to authorized employees and deliver materials to user upon request.
- Obtain Material Safety Data Sheets and USDA-approval documents for chemicals used in the department and prepare labels for chemical containers.
- Label material and stock items in the proper location, pick material and deliver to user upon request.
- Perform physical, cycle, and free-issue transaction counts of materials and supplies as directed.
- Communicate with Accounting Department regarding Maintenance Department billing questions or disputes.
- Complete and enter receivers, requisitions. Assist in reporting status us physical inventory results to management.
- Accurately controls and tracks physical inventory.
- Maintains status of orders throughout entire process.
- Participates in inventory process and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.
- Maintains and manages accurate records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked.
- Maintains and oversees back-order system and inventory database, assisting in the maintenance of SAP and CMMS databases.
- Perform and oversee the processing and routing of invoices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- One to two years related experience or equivalent.
