Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Herzliya, with responsibility for managing bookkeeping activities across both Israel and the US. This role encompasses full ownership of the group's end-to-end bookkeeping processes, while working in close collaboration with the finance leadership and management teams. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, dependable, and meticulous, with a strong work ethic and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
  • Manage bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly
  • Responsible for Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, AR aging, and collections
  • Responsible for Account Payable - processing new vendors, recording invoices, and preparing payments
  • Handle monthly and annual statutory filings and payments to tax authorities. Monitor cash flow and contribute to financial controls
  • Prepare the trial balance and supporting documentation for the monthly closing process
  • Collaborate with external auditors and prepare materials for the annual audit. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper
  • Certified Bookkeeper (Level 2/3) - Must
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Experience with ERP systems - (NetSuite - advantage)
  • Experience with Expense Management Systems - (Mesh, Payem - advantage)
  • Experience with payroll systems - (Michpal - advantage)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, deadline-driven environment
  • Analytical thinker (ability to understand and analyze and problem solve for any discrepancies)
  • Curious, service-oriented, and friendly approach with internal and external Stakeholders

Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
