Founding Engineer

We’re helping a company hire for a Founding Engineer with 2+ years experience to build their technology from the ground up. You’re a proactive, resourceful and mission-driven builder, ideally from a top engineering program, who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by creating scalable, automated systems. This is a pivotal role, focused on unifying fragmented systems, strengthening our data capabilities and laying the technical foundation for our next stage of growth.

What you’ll do:

• Take ownership of the entire tech stack, making key architectural decisions that shape the company’s future.
• Design and integrate systems across deal sourcing, underwriting, tenant screening, and property management using agentic workflows.
• Build a proprietary leasing and tenant management platform from scratch.
• Work with large housing datasets to uncover efficiencies and guide market expansion.
• Partner closely with the founding team to turn business needs into scalable technical solutions.
