About The Role...
The Procurement Administrator will be part of a small Procurement Operations team responsible for delivering and maintaining excellent procurement transactions and operational activities. The team will administer the procurement of street furniture, bus shelters, digital assets and associated components, as well as supporting Indirect procurement in the upkeep of databases, contract roll out, and maintenance of system data.
What The Role Entails...
- Manage the supplier onboarding process from start to finish
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure procurement supports requirements effectively and early in the process, while also working with suppliers to improve performance and lead times
- Respond to internal and external queries and information requests in a timely and professional manner
- Deliver a range of transactional procurement activities, including:
- Creating and maintaining accurate product and purchasing data
- Setting up and loading Bills of Materials for purchasing
- Creating and maintaining part codes
- Updating system pricing and lead times
- Raising and issuing purchase orders
- Loading new contracts and renewals into the contracts database
- Resolving goods delivery discrepancies
- Monitoring and tracking payments to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time
- Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Procurement environments
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience using ERP systems (D365 preferred)
- Salary of £30,000 depending on experience
- 8% Annual Core Bonus
