What You Do
- Develop and enhance SAP HCM solutions with focus on Payroll (DE/CH/AT), Time Management, and Pension modules.
- Perform analysis, debugging and optimization of payroll clusters and time evaluation results.
- Implement enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and interface developments (RFC, IDoc, proxies, APIs).
- Support and troubleshoot Payroll Year-End, follow-up activities, and operational issues.
- Manage integrations with SuccessFactors Employee Central and external providers (CPI know how preferred).
- Handle incidents (SNOW) and change requests (JIRA), providing effort estimation and implementation.
- Collaborate closely with SAP Basis teams for system maintenance, patches, upgrades, and tests.
- Provide expert consulting to business stakeholders and ensure process quality and compliance.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven senior-level expertise in ABAP/ABAP OO, HR-Forms, and complex HCM custom developments.
- Deep understanding of Payroll schemas, PCRs, Time Evaluation, and cluster analysis.
- Experience with S/4HANA HCM (H4S4), HANA DB, Fiori, and modernization topics.
- Strong interface know-how: CPI, RFC, IDoc, API-based integrations.
- Experience with German-speaking countries’ payroll specifics (DE/CH/AT).
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to coding standards and QA.
- Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and solution-oriented thinking.
- Fluent German and English.
