Position Summary
The Territory Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and maintaining a strong market presence within the assigned territory. The role works closely with sales leadership while operating with a high level of autonomy in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve sales goals
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with existing accounts
- Engage decision-makers and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Coordinate with internal teams to support projects, orders, and client expectations
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting in a CRM system
- Provide regular updates and market insights to sales leadership
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–4 years of B2B sales experience
- Background in luxury furniture, home furnishings, hospitality, design, or contract sales strongly preferred
- Proven ability to generate new business and close opportunities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Self-directed with the ability to manage priorities independently
