Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our dealership. Based on-site in Smyrna, DE, the Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, as well as supervising accounting and administrative staff. The role involves preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, maintaining internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes. This position requires a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with dealership accounting practices and software systems
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
• Experience in Dealer Track preferred
