POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager will provide technical support for CBG projects and review process. This role involves leading team including all the stakeholders. This position is for strong technical knowledge in biomass feedstock, anaerobic digestion / culturing, biogas purification, gas upgradation, gas process improvement and safety aspects. A strong background and expertise in CBG, Bio Fuel and related sector, with a proven track record of successful projects. In addition to this, having experience of pre-feasibility studies specific for the biogas projects. The candidate should have handled minimum Two biogas projects in the last 5~6 years as a Project Manager. The role in these projects is related to EPC, Project Development, Execution, Plant Operations, Handling Feedstock and on-site testing. The project manager trains and leads internal as well as external stakeholders.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Lead overall planning, pre-feasibility, execution, plant operations and delivery of CBG projects
• Experience for procurement of biomass feedstock, biomass assessment, biomass handling, by-product processing system
• Strong understanding of CBG plant components and technical solutions
• Hands-on experience in preventive & breakdown maintenance of biogas plant equipment
• Managing project timelines, budget & resources
• Knowledge of safety protocols (air / water / gas) / HSE standards for biogas project
• Handled spares management for biogas project
• Strong understanding of compliance related to Pollution Control Board / PESO
• Experience for documentation for SATAT registration
• Liaison experience with State Nodal Agency / MNRE / OMC’s
• Maintain process mass / energy balances
• Pre-study for biomass / feedstock actual requirement and calculation
• Proven track record in multi discipline teams

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Bio-Chemistry / Bio-technology / Chemical Engineering / Microbiology / Environmental Sciences / Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electronics
• Any certified course related to CBG / Biomass / Biogas is plus
• Project Management Certification is mandatory with 4 years minimum experience

CAREER EXPERIENCE:

• 10~15 years of experience with Biogas Plant or EPC company (with biogas / gas company)
• EPC project experience is highly preferred
• Required PMP certification with 4+ years of experience
