Powder Product Manager,AP

该职位来源于猎聘 As the Asia Pacific Powder Product Manager, you will be responsible for the development and management of PPG's powder coatings roadmap, new product innovation and portfolio across the Asia Pacific region. This role will be the critical interface between commercial, S&T, marketing, operations and supply chain team to lead alignment and set priorities. This role reports to the Regional Director of Product Management and Pricing, Industrial Coatings Asia Pacific. It is critical to PPG's growth as powder coatings are a key focus within the Enterprise Growth Strategy and one of the fastest-growing coating technologies globally Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap Development
• Define and execute product roadmap for powder coatings in APAC, aligning with regional market demands across general finish, extrusion, heavy-duty equipment, transco, electronic materials market segments. Support execution of global product roadmap within the region.
• New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Own regional NPI projects, coordinating cross-functional teams including S&T, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure successful product development and market introductions
• Portfolio Management & Complexity Reduction
• Optimize product portfolio through systematic analysis, rationalization of underperforming platforms / SKUs, and strategic consolidation to improve efficiency and reduce complexity Training & Enablement: Develop technology, products and value selling trainings to commercial teams and customers.

Collaboration with Global Team

• Interface with global team to align strategies, share best practices and leverage global resources to enhance local efforts.
• Marketing Materials & Commercial Support
• Work with Marketing Communications Team to develop compelling marketing collateral and sales tools to support regional commercial teams and enhance customer engagement
• Customer Partnership
• Collaborate with key customers to understand evolving needs, market trend, identify differentiated product solutions, and strengthen strategic partnerships Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree is preferred but not required
• Industry Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in industrial coatings, powder coatings, or related chemical industries in product management, marketing, technical, business development, or sales roles
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English
• This role offers the flexibility to work from any city across China, while employees in PPG office locations are expected to work on-site three days per week.
