Our client is a growing environmental services company seeking an Environmental Account Specialist / Account Executive to support and grow business across hazardous waste, contaminated soil, industrial services, and environmental solutions throughout the region.
This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience in hazardous waste, lab packing, contaminated soil, industrial cleaning, remediation, or waste and recycling services looking to grow within a stable and expanding organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business while managing and growing existing accounts
- Sell environmental service solutions including:
- Hazardous waste disposal
- Drum waste services
- Lab packs
- Contaminated soil transportation/disposal
- Industrial and non-hazardous waste services
- Emergency response and environmental programs
- Build relationships with industrial, manufacturing, construction, utility, and commercial customers
- Conduct customer site visits and identify service opportunities
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements
- Coordinate projects with operations, transportation, and disposal facilities
- Maintain CRM activity, account documentation, and sales pipeline updates
- 2+ years of sales, account management, or environmental industry experience required
- Background in hazardous waste, environmental services, industrial services, remediation, or waste/recycling strongly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage both existing accounts and business development activity
- Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, and environmental regulations is a plus
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Valid driver's license required
