We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Account Executive to join one of our Commercial Lines teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for servicing middle market commercial lines accounts
- Evaluate and process underwriting information from clients
- Negotiate renewals to obtain best rates, terms and conditions on behalf of clients
- Inform and educated clients about coverages and exposures
- Review commercial quotes, binders, invoices, and certificates/evidence of insurance for accuracy and completion
- Prepare commercial applications and forwarded to underwriters for consideration
- Provide annual reports of coverages, premium payments and incurred property and liability losses for auditors and accountants
- Maintain relationships with MGA’s (Managing General Agents) of funded projects and introduced and implemented risk reduction management programs for safety that met and exceed State and Federal Requirements
- Inspection report recommendations.
- Receive and process premium payments on all new lines, renewal and NOC’s
- 5-7 years + Commercial Lines experience
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated ability to property and casualty accounts (within a specific product segment or industry vertical); effectively market to carriers and customers; develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and prospects.
- Knowledge of all forms of property and casualty coverage rating.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products; EPIC experience preferred
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Valid P&C license required
Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Negligible
Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
