Managing Director, Head of North America Distribution

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead the North America distribution business for BNY Investments, setting and executing the regional commercial strategy across institutional and intermediary channels.
- Drive revenue growth, net new asset flows, and client retention across North America in alignment with enterprise and platform objectives.
- Oversee client coverage and distribution efforts across Wealth, Retirement, and Institutional segments.
- Serve as the senior executive sponsor for key client relationships and strategic opportunities across the region.
- Lead and support complex mandate pursuits, including origination, negotiation, pricing, and deal structure decisions.
- Deliver against annual sales, revenue, and net flow targets for North America.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide strategic market insight on client needs, competitive dynamics, and regional growth opportunities to the Global Head of Distribution and platform leadership.
- Partner closely with investment, product, marketing, operations, legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure coordinated execution and strong client outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, and conduct standards applicable to North America distribution activity.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional distribution organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client focus.
- Act as a visible senior leader for BNY Investments internally and externally in the North America market.
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred
- 12+ years of total work experience preferred.
- Significant senior leadership experience in asset management, investments distribution, institutional sales, or client coverage.
- Deep knowledge of North America distribution models and the institutional and intermediary marketplace.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, asset raising results, and client retention outcomes at scale.
- Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and conduct requirements relevant to North America distribution businesses.
- Exceptional executive presence, leadership capability, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global matrixed organization and influence at the most senior levels.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered.
