We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the flexible packaging space, with a focus on pouching, films, and co-manufacturing solutions. This is a high-impact role for someone who knows the industry, understands how to win business, and thrives on building long-term customer relationships.
This role will focus on developing strategic accounts, identifying new opportunities, and expanding business across key markets. You’ll partner closely with internal teams while owning the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing and growing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategy to win new business and grow key accounts
- Build relationships with converters, CPGs, and strategic customers
- Manage and advance a strong pipeline through CRM (Salesforce preferred)
- Lead customer conversations, RFQs, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts and expand share of wallet
- Partner with operations and leadership to align on capacity and capabilities
Preferred Background
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience in flexible packaging
- Strong understanding of pouching, films, and converting processes
- Experience calling on converters, CPGs, or national accounts
- Proven ability to build relationships and close new business
- Strong business acumen, communication, and strategic thinking skills
