Rise is growing at a rapid pace and we are seeking a kick-ass Senior Technology Manager to join us on this incredible journey. In this role, you will play an integral part in the growth of our existing brands and have the opportunity to help bring new concepts to life. RESPONSIBILITIES

The Rise Brands Senior Technology Manager reports to the home office in Columbus, Ohio, where you have the opportunity to work in a cool downtown office space and have responsibility for managing technology for the company. This position reports to our Vice President of Business Operations and is responsible for the following:

• Manage technology platforms and infrastructure for home office and brand locations, leveraging a balance of internal team members and external providers.

• Support New Store Opening projects, ensuring locations are built according to tech standards and successfully onboarded to the appropriate operating platforms.

• Provide oversight in the ongoing implementation and administration of information security processes and tools to protect company assets.

• Manage the planning and execution of technology projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams on projects that require tech team input.

• Support leadership in the development of technology budgets and plans that align with company growth objectives.

• Partner with leadership to ensure tech platforms, processes, tools and teams are optimized to support the company’s growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of overall tech experience working in industry and/or consulting roles.

• 8+ years combined experience managing tech operations, projects, and teams.

• Demonstrated experience working with enterprise technology platforms, preferably in a retail, hospitality, or eCommerce environment. Examples include POS, HRIS, Finance, and other retail operating platforms as well as Google and Microsoft platforms.

• Knowledge of on-prem network and infrastructure systems required in brick-and-mortar retail operations as well as experience overseeing internal/external installation teams.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience leading and developing direct reports and other cross team members.

• Experience managing the planning and execution of tech/related projects.

• Experience managing and/or working with external technology providers; prefer experience negotiating software and managed services contracts.

• Preferred experience working in a high growth, entrepreneurial work environment.
