Senior Director of Technology Architecture

A global organisation is looking for a senior technology leader to shape and lead architecture across a complex, international environment. This is a key leadership role, sitting at the intersection of business and technology, focused on aligning technology decisions to commercial priorities.

The role:

• Partner with senior stakeholders across operations, commercial, finance, and regulatory teams to translate business needs into clear technology solutions
• Define and evolve enterprise and solution architecture across a global landscape
• Lead architecture and analysis capability, shaping demand and ensuring work is prioritised and outcome-driven
• Guide major technology decisions, balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategy
• Work closely with delivery, product, data, and infrastructure teams to enable effective and timely execution
• Build and lead a high-performing team of architects and analysts

What they’re looking for:

• Proven leadership in architecture within large, complex environments
• Strong experience shaping demand and influencing senior stakeholders
• Broad understanding across applications, integration, data, platforms, and security
• Background in operationally critical or regulated environments
• Experience across domains such as logistics, supply chain, customer platforms, or enterprise systems is beneficial

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in the London offices, in addition to some international travel on an occasional basis.
