Scope of Role
The Channel Development Manager is responsible for building, managing, and expanding the company’s partner ecosystem to drive revenue growth, increase market penetration, and strengthen strategic relationships. This role will focus on developing long-term partnerships with distributors, resellers and other channel partners, ensuring they are equipped, motivated, and aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners across target markets and regions.
- Develop and execute the channel development strategy in alignment with company goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders to maximise engagement, sales performance, and loyalty.
- Define, negotiate, and manage partner agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and commercial objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Solutions & Product teams to develop joint go-to-market activities and partner enablement programs.
- Monitor and analyse partner performance, providing regular reports, forecasts, and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and deliver partner training programs, sales tools, and resources to enhance channel capability.
- Lead initiatives to expand channel reach into new markets, verticals, and customer segments.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for partner-related issues and work cross-functionally to resolve them.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging channel models.
- Promote and support Getac Partner Portal program with all Partners
- Maintain accurate Partner information using Salesforce CRM
- Release and manage Channel Partner pricing
- Coordination and support of Partner marketing activities with Getac’s DACH & EMEA Marketing teams
- Alignment with agreed EMEA Channel strategy
- Attend regular sales meetings
- Completion of required sales reporting
Essential Experience Required
- Proven experience in channel development & partner management ideally within IT industry.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; ability to use data to drive decisions.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a track record of achieving channel revenue targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required across DACH.

Working Relationships
Reporting to Enterprise Sales Team Lead, there will be regular communication with different functions GDE Team incl Sales, Administration, Customer Service, Product & Solutions, Marketing, Account Managers & EMEA Channel Team.
