Residence Hall Association Coordinator

Look no further! The Residence Hall Association Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the residence hall association program by supervising the residence hall association; coordinating programs that foster personal wellness and community development among student residents.

Primary Duties

  • Community Enhancement
  • Responsible for the recruitment, selection, and evaluation process for Residence Hall Association
  • Serve on IMPACT training committee to contribute to the training for resident assistants and residence hall association

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

  • Masters degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education, Counseling or related field.
  • Prior residence hall experience preferred.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Pending graduates eligible if candidate receives their degree by date of employment.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse student populations.
  • Leadership experience and ability to motivate and empower others.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple events and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address resident concerns and conflicts effectively.
  • Knowledge of student housing policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • This is not a live-on campus role.
