The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Finance team in Barakaldo. Reporting to the Management Accountant – Southern Europe, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial insights and supporting decision-making across the business.
Working closely with management and finance teams across the Group, you will provide high-quality financial reporting and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely, accurate, and complete management accounts, including supporting schedules, KPIs, variance analysis, and insightful commentary
- Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for assigned business units
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Provide regular and ad hoc financial analysis, including cost analysis, profitability reviews, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver clear and actionable financial insights
- Contribute to M&A activities and business improvement initiatives, including system implementations and process enhancements
- Support continuous improvement of reporting tools, processes, and data accuracy
- Undertake other responsibilities as required to support the Finance function
- Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS and/or GAAP)
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data
- Advanced Excel skills and strong overall digital proficiency
- Fluent English (minimum B2 level)
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
