Overview
A leading manufacturer serving the multifamily construction market is seeking a high-impact National Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across key U.S. regions. This is a true hunter role focused on building pipeline, winning new business, and closing complex deals with developers, architects, and general contractors.
This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding national market presence while working directly with executive decision-makers on large-scale multifamily projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with multifamily developers, architects, and general contractors nationwide
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including Developers, Heads of Construction, and Preconstruction teams
- Develop and manage a robust national sales pipeline across multiple regions and markets
- Drive specification and early-stage engagement to position products on upcoming projects
- Support geographic expansion efforts into new and emerging markets
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Collaborate internally with leadership, operations, and project teams to ensure successful project execution
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in construction materials or building products sales
- Proven success selling into multifamily developers and/or general contractors
- Strong understanding of construction processes, timelines, and project cycles
- Demonstrated ability to manage long, complex sales cycles from specification through close
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Hunter mentality with a proactive, business development-driven approach
- Willingness to travel nationally as needed
