Role Overview


The business is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director – Commercial Leasing to lead the strategy, execution, and performance of the leasing function for the company’s commercial office portfolio. This role is responsible for driving leasing activities across primarily office and workspace, developments, ensuring optimal occupancy, tenant mix, and long-term asset value creation.


The successful candidate will possess deep experience in GCC commercial leasing markets, with a strong track record in office space leasing, strategic tenant relationship management, and asset commercialization at scale.


Key Responsibilities


  • Leasing Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive leasing strategies for Company’s commercial office portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader business and financial objectives.
  • Portfolio Management:
  • Oversee all leasing activities across the office and commercial assets, ensuring maximum occupancy rates, revenue optimization, and premium positioning within the Riyadh market.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Monitor GCC real estate trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to inform pricing, product positioning, and leasing strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key tenants, brokers, government entities, and corporate occupiers to support leasing objectives.
  • Financial Performance:
  • Drive rental income growth, manage lease negotiations, and ensure all lease documentation and commercial terms meet corporate standards and risk thresholds.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing leasing team capable of executing on complex leasing mandates across multiple assets.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Development, Asset Management, Legal, and Marketing teams to ensure coordinated delivery of leasing programs and tenant handovers.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional accreditation such as RICS, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 18 years of progressive experience in commercial real estate, with at least 10 years in senior leasing leadership roles within the GCC region.
  • Expertise:
  • Proven experience in commercial office leasing, large-scale mixed-use developments, and pre-leasing of premium-grade assets.
  • Market Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of the Saudi and wider GCC office leasing landscape, tenant demand drivers, and institutional leasing practices.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation, financial analysis, leadership, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English (Arabic proficiency an advantage).
