About The Opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Scan and file documents in electronic and paper form
- Proofread documents as requested including time entries, legal descriptions, pre-bills, forms, etc.
- Prepare basic documents including engagement letters and conflict waivers
- Create PowerPoint and other presentations from provided material
- Type from dictation
- Upload documents to extranet sites
- Open client matters and order sub-files
- Assemble closing binders and other packaged materials
- Distribute mail
- Perform other administrative tasks such as calendaring items, scheduling meetings, order committee lunches, etc.
The above list is not intended to be all inclusive but provides a general framework for the position. Other related responsibilities will arise from time to time and be assigned to department members.
The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. These include being both mobile and stationary throughout the workday, having the ability to transport 25 pounds and being able to operate a computer and other business equipment found in the office.
