Job Type: Seasonal / Temporary

Compensation: $13/hour (overtime opportunities available)

Schedule: Varying schedule, including on-call availability Monday–Sunday between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (including occasional holidays)

Location: Remote (optional workspace available onsite if needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking empathetic and customer-focused individuals for a seasonal opportunity supporting a high-volume claims environment driven by weather-related events. This entry-level role serves as the first point of contact for insured customers, ensuring timely outreach and a positive customer experience during potentially stressful situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound calls to insured customers within 24 hours on behalf of the insurance carrier
  • Provide adjuster contact information and clearly explain next steps in the claims process
  • Accurately document call attempts and customer interactions using provided templates and systems
  • Handle a high volume of calls while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate empathy, patience, and strong communication skills when assisting customers
  • Adhere to assigned on-call schedules, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to follow documented processes
  • Reliable internet connection and personal equipment (laptop and phone required)
  • Ability to work a flexible, on-call schedule

Training

  • Half-day virtual training provided
  • One day of onsite training to ensure readiness and understanding of processes

  • This is a seasonal position based on business needs and weather-related claim volume
