As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to advance the equipment that supports our technology. Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases. You will also coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.

As an electrical engineer within our development department you will design solutions for the requirements of our customers, in close cooperation with developers,
The focus is on the development of electronic components that control the electron-optical system of our devices. They develop, implement and test new (usually discrete) circuits, design programs for the system control and specify electronics and software from external suppliers.
Key responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of test stands and methods for analog and digital electronics for electron beam inspection systems in the display and semiconductor industry in close cooperation with a team of physicists, designers, and system engineers
- Planning and implementation of electronics for the operation of complex electron-optical systems
- Specification, project management and acceptance of external hardware and software components
- Prototype setup for testing and evaluating new developments
- Creating documentation for suppliers and manufacturing
- Change management (documentation, BOM definition, obsolescence)
- University degree (university, university of applied sciences) in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
- Design and development of precision electronics (current and voltage sources, low-noise amplifiers, raster and imaging systems)
- Specification and application of precision high-voltage supplies (up to 30 kV)
- Design of digital control electronics
- Change management
- Implementation of IEC, SEMI and UL standards
- Test and troubleshooting of prototypes
- Definition of control software including the user interface
- Management of complex electronics projects
- Languages: German and English
