We at Gigafactory Berlin Design and Construction are looking for a Construction Manager to join an energetic and vibrant environment. In this role, your main responsibility is to coordinate and ensure with all stakeholders that the infrastructure construction project is successful from concept to completion - Through your work, you will play a crucial role in helping clients and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Manage multiple projects and defined areas simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track all Design Change Requests (DCRs) from development through to final completion.
  • Respond quickly to technical queries and resolve any barriers to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Regularly align with the Technical Service team on new systems and upcoming implementations.
  • Submit and follow up on RFIs and FCRs with clear proposals when required.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to develop biddable work packages, validate contractor bids against cost and schedule estimates, create Statements of Work (SoW), and provide input for Work Authorizations from design submittal to PO release.
  • Proactively engage with all project stakeholders, including Engineering, Construction, Legal, Commissioning, Manufacturing, and Technical Services.
  • Facilitate, monitor, and review documentation for timely project handover, including Blue/Green Tag processes.
  • Lead the handover process across different project scopes.
  • Provide design input to the Engineering team during design reviews.
  • Understand construction sequences, startup systems, and review designs for constructability.
  • Develop templates and standards for future phases and projects.

  • What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure construction management (civil or electrical).
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to manage stakeholder relationships, preferably in English and German.
  • High proficiency in working with digital systems including AutoCAD, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and in-house software platforms.
  • Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field and to get hands dirty as needed to complete objectives or find the correct information.
  • Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
