Job Duties
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and develop a national and regional sales organization with clear goals, accountability, and performance standards
- Own the growth strategy for direct-to-contractor and regional roll former segments, with clear targets for revenue, market share, and profitability
- Lead key strategic opportunities and negotiations with high-value customers
- Translate company objectives into clear, measurable sales priorities and execution plans
- Prepare and present quarterly performance reviews by region versus budget and prior year
- Build and enforce consistent, documented sales processes across inside and outside sales
- Drive full CRM adoption and data accuracy to support forecasting, visibility, and decision-making
- Improve win rates and sales cycle time through disciplined deal review, coaching, and pipeline inspection
- Ensure strong collaboration between Account Managers, Branch Managers, and Inside Sales
- Partner closely with pricing, operations, and supply chain to align growth priorities, capacity, and service levels
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners, including New Tech Machinery, to create joint market opportunities
- Work with Revenue and Marketing teams to ensure initiatives are aligned, scalable, and execution-focused
- Gather and apply market and competitive intelligence to guide strategy, pricing, and investment decisions
- Use financial and operating data to guide territory strategy and maximize revenue, margin, and cash flow
- Establish and manage clear performance dashboards and KPIs to track sales effectiveness and profitability
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of industrial sales experience with a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Demonstrated experience leading and scaling high-performing sales teams
- Experience owning sales strategy, execution, and results across a multi-region or national footprint
- Strong experience using CRM and sales technology to drive performance and visibility
- Metal roofing or related building products experience strongly preferred
- Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and executive presence
- Ability to influence cross-functional leaders and drive change in a complex organization
- Proven experience leading sales organization structure changes, including redesign of roles, territories, and coverage models across inside and outside sales
- Track record of leading sales teams through organizational and compensation transitions while maintaining performance, morale, and talent retention
