Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (6 month contract)

We are partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed organization to appoint a Senior Vice President, FP&A. This is a critical leadership role, working closely with the CFO and executive team to drive financial strategy, performance, and enterprise-wide value creation.

The role sits at the center of decision-making, owning financial planning, performance management, and board-level insight across the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership, supporting commercial decisions, margin improvement, and growth initiatives
  • Lead all core FP&A processes, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning
  • Drive enterprise performance management, ensuring alignment between financial strategy and operational execution
  • Deliver clear, actionable insight on business performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Own development of Board and investor reporting, including monthly reporting packages and executive materials
  • Enhance financial systems, reporting capabilities, and toolsets, leveraging modern technologies and automation
  • Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Partner cross-functionally with commercial and operational leaders to track and deliver value creation initiatives


Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to FP&A leadership
  • Proven ability to partner with senior executives and influence strategic outcomes
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and storytelling capabilities
  • Experience within a PE-backed, transaction-driven, or high-growth environment is strongly preferred
  • Track record of producing Board-level materials and executive presentations
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership style with strong communication skills
