I’m working with a number of organisations across Florida looking to strengthen their engineering leadership teams within the water and wastewater infrastructure space.

These are senior-level opportunities focused on leading technical delivery, developing teams, and playing a key role in how businesses scale across the region.

The work typically spans treatment, pipelines, pumping stations, and wider municipal infrastructure - with a mix of capital programmes, long-term frameworks, and design-build delivery.

At this level, it’s less about a perfect job description and more about alignment - whether that’s:

• Leading and growing high-performing engineering teams

• Taking ownership of major infrastructure programmes

• Strengthening client relationships at a strategic level

• Having a seat at the table in how a business grows

Most of the individuals I speak with at this level aren’t actively applying for roles - but are open to the right opportunity if it offers:

• Greater influence and autonomy

• A clear path into executive leadership

• Strong project pipeline and stability

• The ability to make a genuine impact in the market
