Job Details
- Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 annualized
- Employment Type: 3‑month contract‑to‑hire
- Location: Tampa Bay, FL
- Work Hours: Standard business hours
Key Responsibilities
Database & Data Management
- Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures
- Create and manage databases and tables to support data warehousing, real‑time, and historical reporting needs
- Monitor database performance and work with vendors or internal partners to ensure systems meet performance standards
- Implement data validation, quality checks, and auditing processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and SQL‑based data sources
- Support enterprise reporting needs, including monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year‑end processes
- Partner with business teams to define KPIs, metrics, and data requirements
- Perform advanced data analysis to translate raw data into actionable insights for stakeholders
- Archive historical data and reporting outputs in accordance with data governance standards
- Support data and reporting needs for enterprise systems, including CRM and ticketing platforms
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on system enhancements, integrations, and reporting changes
- Assist with system documentation, SOPs, and technical knowledge transfer
- Identify risks, data issues, or reporting gaps and communicate findings clearly to leadership
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a DBA or advanced SQL development role
- Proven ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures
- Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to data accuracy
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting reporting for CRM or enterprise business applications
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and reporting automation
- Experience creating SOPs, documentation, and end‑user training materials
