Catholic Religious Education (RE) Coordinator

Location: F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming

Employment Type: Contract / Part-Time (Approximately 25 hours per week)

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the Catholic Religious Education (RE) program for youth and adults
• Plan and conduct religious education classes, sacramental preparation, and special events
• Recruit, train, and supervise catechists and RE volunteers
• Maintain student enrollment, attendance records, and program documentation
• Ensure volunteers complete required orientation, training, and background checks
• Select and coordinate religious education curriculum with chapel leadership
• Prepare program publicity and communications for chapel publications
• Attend chapel staff meetings and Catholic Community Advisory Council meetings
• Coordinate facility reservations and ensure classrooms are prepared and secured

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• At least two years of experience with Catholic programs or religious education
• Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) certification or valid Catechist Certificate
• Experience working with volunteer-based ministry or educational programs
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe software
