Catholic Religious Education (RE) Coordinator

Employment Type: Contract / Part-Time (Approximately 25 hours per week)
Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the Catholic Religious Education (RE) program for youth and adults
- Plan and conduct religious education classes, sacramental preparation, and special events
- Recruit, train, and supervise catechists and RE volunteers
- Maintain student enrollment, attendance records, and program documentation
- Ensure volunteers complete required orientation, training, and background checks
- Select and coordinate religious education curriculum with chapel leadership
- Prepare program publicity and communications for chapel publications
- Attend chapel staff meetings and Catholic Community Advisory Council meetings
- Coordinate facility reservations and ensure classrooms are prepared and secured
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- At least two years of experience with Catholic programs or religious education
- Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) certification or valid Catechist Certificate
- Experience working with volunteer-based ministry or educational programs
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe software
