What can you expect?


We are seeking a dynamic Manager, Marketing & Communications who will lead a locally relevant, digitally enabled marketing approach to engage a well-defined audience through thoughtful, targeted messaging, content, and experiences. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our local leadership and sales teams to foster meaningful connections based on trust and relevance, delivering valuable outcomes for our customers, STT GDC, and wider industry associations and influencers.


You will focus on lines of business, IT, and data centre operations personas, driving awareness, building relationships, and challenging perceptions of STT GDC and the data centre industry. Your efforts will not only positively impact the sales pipeline and revenue but also position us as a leader in innovation and reliability.


In addition, you will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, leveraging cutting-edge digital marketing strategies to create impactful campaigns that resonate with our audience. This role will report to the Head, Group Marketing & Communications based in Singapore.

We will count on you to:


  • Drive the marketing and communications plan in collaboration with team members, contributing to overall brand-building efforts.
  • Partner with leadership and sales teams, being accountable for increasing the relevance of the STT GDC brand (thought leadership) and accelerating the sales pipeline through demand nurturing and in-person event engagements.
  • Implement a focused media relations strategy, leveraging global content and localising it as required to optimise market fit, while also creating original content to strengthen local efforts.
  • Understand and confidently articulate the value that STT GDC delivers for our customers in relation to macro trends, industry forces and regulations, enabling you to identify the right channels and stories that will aid understanding and influence.
  • Identify and evaluate third-party event platforms for opportunities in brand and thought leadership sponsorships.
  • Plan and execute local events to engage target market segments and prospects, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Engage with partner organisation/s on joint go-to-market (GTM) plans where applicable.
  • Identify key industry bodies, media outlets and third parties to partner with or join, extending our scale, reach and influence to position STT GDC as an industry thought leader.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider marketing organisation in delivering brand and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy and adjust tactics as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Support the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, and presentations, to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.


What you need to have:


  • A passion for building trusted relationships with sales and business stakeholders, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams, a strong understanding of our business, and a data-driven mindset to make a meaningful impact.
  • Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling you to develop innovative marketing approaches that drive results.
  • At least 8-10+ years of experience in developing and running successful programmes in technology or adjacent industries, targeting specific industry sectors and/or senior executive audiences with a precision-focused approach rather than a scale-focused one.
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing with a focus on delivering tailored solutions and engaging content to technology and business audiences, driving customer engagement and sales.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment, thriving in a fast-moving, high-growth organisation
  • Solid understanding and practical implementation of marketing strategies, including demand nurturing, account-based marketing, and collaborations with third party partners and industry associations
  • Competency in modern marketing tools and best practices, with the ability to adapt quickly to internal processes and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media strategies to enhance brand presence and engagement.
