- Partner with business (e.g. Inventory, Finance, HR, Quality, etc.) and IT stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Gather and analyze requirements using interviews, workshops, document review, process analysis, and workflow modeling.
- Partner with business units to identify and evaluate business process and information system alternatives and select best option for implementation. Work closely with third-party vendors including software providers, implementation partners, and consultants.
- Understand current and future application capabilities, including cloud solutions to determine whether build or buy solution would meet business requirements.
- Participate in end-user support for production systems and business processes. Ensure effective and consistent use of processes and systems at all locations. Perform functional configuration and maintenance for systems based on changing operational and business needs.
- Create user acceptance test plans and lead effort to successfully perform user acceptance testing. Provide end user training on technology initiatives and application systems and enhancements.
- Utilize Change Management policies and process to successfully implement process and systems changes in production. Organize and conduct post implementation reviews for completed projects.
- Ensure consistent compliance with customer standards, safety/OSHA and quality standards/HACCP and GMP standards.

- General office environment with majority of time using computer
- Some exposure to plant floor, including noise, dust and variation in temperature (hot/cold)
- Requires occasional travel (10 – 20%)
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and code of conduct
- Comply with workplace uniform requirements and safety gear, when on the plant floor v. office
- Manage product operation with a high set of standards to produce consistent, quality-driven results
- Ensures work hours and schedules, timely attendance, and notice requirements for absences or lateness are met
- Promote a positive attitude and a sense of curiosity in learning new roles and responsibilities
- Instill a culture of leadership and engagement of team to achieve performance expectations
- 5-7 years’ experience in business system analyst role in manufacturing industry, food manufacturing preferably
- Business functional knowledge related to sales order processing, manufacturing and supply chain, formula and quality management.
- Collaborated closely with IT, developers, architects, data engineers, and vendors.
- Create artifacts like functional specifications, system requirements, data mappings, interface and integration requirements.
- Experience in identifying business process issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve.
- Experience in taking business requirements and translating them into functional or system requirements.
- Business process & systems transformation experience preferred.
- SAP or similar ERP software experience preferred. Proficient in current computer software, including Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, Planner, etc.
- SQL and Relational Databases (querying, analysis, validation)

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Exceptional written documentation skills with attention to detail
- Clear, confident verbal communication with both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently with minimal oversight
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field

This role is eligible for either a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance) and/or commission-based incentives.
Salary Range $90,000-$115,000
