Job Title: Recruiter

Location: Irving, TX

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Fully Onsite

Type of Employment: Contract-to-Hire

Compensation: $35-40/hour depending on experience

Industry: Industrial Services / Skilled Trades

Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage available after 60 days on contract


Job Description:

Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify an experienced Recruiter to support hiring efforts in Texas. This individual will manage full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades, operational and corporate positions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate thrives under deadlines, enjoys building relationships with candidates and hiring leaders, and can successfully manage a large requisition load.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume skilled trades and corporate positions

• Source, review, and evaluate applicants through job boards, recruiting platforms, and proactive outreach methods

• Coordinate closely with hiring managers and internal HR teams to prioritize hiring needs and maintain recruiting progress

• Handle multiple open requisitions simultaneously while ensuring an organized and efficient recruitment process

• Conduct candidate screening conversations and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring cycle

• Maintain recruiting data and candidate records within the applicant tracking system

• Utilize sourcing tools and recruiting strategies to identify qualified talent in competitive labor markets


Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting within industries such as manufacturing, construction, industrial, transportation, eletrical or skilled trades

• Experience in both staffing and corporate recruiter positions

• Proven ability to manage a large requisition workload in a fast-paced environment

• Experience using applicant tracking systems and online sourcing tools

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and hiring managers

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills

• Bilingual Spanish language skills are a plus

• High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred
