Position Overview


You will act as the strategic owner to build and drive the heat pump business from ground up, working closely with local cross-functional teams in Germany. You will serve as the key insight hub for headquarters – shaping product strategy, leading BD and contract negotiations, managing customer onboarding, and ensuring end-to-end delivery quality alongside technical teams.


Key Responsibilities


1, Strategically identify and penetrate specialized heat pump channels – independently lead the entire commercial cycle from opportunity origination, complex contract negotiation, to deal closure and full payment collection.

2, Act as the primary liaison with headquarters – proactively align all internal functions (product, supply chain, marketing) and ensure rapid, autonomous responses to value chain and client demands.

3, Drive new product development (NPD) strategy by delivering high-impact, data-backed recommendations to headquarters based on local market gaps, customer pain points, and competitive dynamics.

4, Orchestrate end-to-end business development – own local BD, channel partner onboarding, and customer integration, while ensuring seamless coordination with technical teams for pre-sales engineering support and after-sales service excellence.

5, Establish a continuous market intelligence engine – regularly transmit actionable insights on pricing, regulations, emerging trends, and competitor movements to inform HQ’s strategic decisions and product roadmap.


Requirements


1, Proven senior-level sales/business development experience in heat pumps, HVAC, or renewable energy systems, with a track record of independently building markets from scratch.

2, Strong strategic ownership – ability to operate autonomously, make high-stakes decisions, and drive results without daily supervision.

3, Excellent negotiation and contract management skills with complex B2B clients and channel partners.

4, Technical fluency – capable of collaborating with engineering teams on pre-sales/after-sales issues; deep understanding of heat pump applications is a strong plus.

5, Exceptional cross-cultural communication – comfortable influencing headquarters stakeholders and bridging local market needs with global strategy.

6, Language: Bilingual with native language and English

7, Willingness to travel across the local market as required.
