Full Stack Engineer | Forward-Deployed Engineering | AI & Manufacturing

I’m currently partnered with a well-funded startup building AI-powered automation software for the manufacturing industry, and they’re hiring multiple Full Stack Engineers to join their forward-deployed engineering team.

This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates or engineers with under 2 years of experience who want to accelerate their career in an extremely hands-on, high-impact environment. Engineers work directly inside manufacturing facilities, solving real operational challenges and deploying production-grade software at speed.

The role is highly collaborative and customer-facing, so strong communication skills are essential. You’ll need to be equally comfortable speaking with factory operators on the floor as you are engaging with plant leadership and executive stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building full stack applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, and modern infrastructure tooling

• Working directly on-site with operators, engineers, and leadership teams to scope and deploy solutions

• Owning projects end-to-end from discovery through implementation and optimisation

• Developing scalable internal tooling, workflows, and reusable platforms

• Contributing to AI-driven systems transforming industrial operations

What They’re Looking For:

• Recent graduate or engineer with under 2 years of experience

• Strong technical or engineering background (Georgia Tech or SEC-school backgrounds strongly preferred)

• Experience with modern web development technologies, particularly React and Node.js

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable operating in customer-facing environments

• Willingness to travel extensively and relocate for deployments

• High ownership mentality and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

• Spanish-speaking candidates highly encouraged

Package:

• $100K–$110K base salary

• High equity potential

• Housing and travel fully covered during deployments

• Direct exposure to founders and senior leadership

• Significant ownership and responsibility from day one

Deployment Locations:

• Torreon, Mexico

• Eagle Pass, Texas (2 openings)

• Maryville, Tennessee

• Chattanooga, Tennessee (2 openings)

• Ashland, Alabama (2–3 openings)

Additional Details:

This is a full-time permanent opportunity built around continuous 6-month deployment cycles across customer sites. Engineers may also have opportunities to work internationally on projects across Germany, Israel, Italy, and other locations.

For deployments in Chattanooga, the package also includes:
