- Prepare production plans based on customer orders and forecasts (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Analyse capacity, machine loading, and manpower availability
- Develop production schedules to meet delivery timelines
- Coordinate with sales and customer service for demand planning
- Prepare material requirement plans (MRP)
- Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory
- Coordinate with respective dept to ensure timely material availability
- Reduce excess inventory and prevent stockouts
- Track daily production output vs plan
- Address bottlenecks, deviations, or delays in schedules
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure machine availability
- Analyse downtime and recommend process improvements
- Maintain production records, MIS reports, and planning dashboards
- Track OTIF (On Time In Full).
- Prepare monthly planning and performance analysis reports
- Communicate planning updates to production, QA, purchase, and logistics teams
- Ensure smooth flow of materials throughout the manufacturing cycle
- Strong knowledge of production planning tools, MRP, ERP systems (Preferred Oracle)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning (CRP)
- Excel proficiency and analytical skills
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work and manage multiple priorities.
