Compensation Expectation: $150,000 – $175,000
What You'll Do As Sr Manager, Management Consultant:
- Own end-to-end delivery across complex, multi-workstream engagements — from initial scoping through final handoff — ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction at every phase
- Structure engagement delivery into clearly bounded workstreams with defined owners, milestones, and interdependencies
- Define and document engagement governance — project charters, RACI frameworks, delivery roadmaps, and escalation protocols — that serve as the authoritative reference for delivery teams
- Drive delivery cadence through structured rituals — workstream syncs, steering reviews, retrospectives — before losing momentum or client confidence
- Lead discovery and assessment workshops to understand client business goals, organizational readiness, and strategic constraints that shape solution design
- Facilitate executive workshops and steering committees — aligning senior stakeholders, product sponsors, and delivery teams on priorities and direction
- Serve as the primary client relationship owner throughout the engagement, building executive trust through clarity, commercial acuity, and consistent delivery
- Set clear workstream expectations, run effective team rituals, and hold delivery leads accountable to commitments without micromanaging execution
- Model the consulting behaviors the company expects — intellectual rigor, client-first mindset, and delivery discipline — and cultivate them in every team member
- Contribute to reusable delivery playbooks, methodologies, and talent frameworks that raise the bar across all client engagements
- Support proposal development and pursuit efforts, contributing commercial framing, delivery approach, and pricing strategy for new client engagements
Qualifications:
You could be a great fit if you have:
- 8+ years of total experience, with 5+ years in management consulting or professional services; 2+ years managing consulting teams on complex client engagements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary delivery teams (consultants, analysts, engineers) with accountability for outcomes, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Proven track record managing client relationships at the Director/VP level, including navigating difficult conversations, scope changes, and executive escalations.
- Ability to produce high-quality engagement deliverables — executive presentations, delivery roadmaps, status reports — that communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong commercial instincts — able to recognize expansion opportunities, structure compelling proposals, and understand the economics of consulting engagements.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence — comfortable presenting to C-suite stakeholders, facilitating senior workshops, and navigating organizational complexity.
- Preferred:
- Experience leading AI or digital transformation engagements at the program or portfolio level, including change management and business case development
- Familiarity with consulting methodologies (McKinsey 7S, PROSCI, Agile, SAFe) and their practical application in enterprise transformation contexts
- Background in one or more of the company’s core verticals: AgTech, Logistics, Financial Services, or Construction
- MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution, or equivalent experience at a Tier 1/2 consulting firm
- Professional certifications in project delivery, change management, or leadership (e.g., PMP, PROSCI, or equivalent)
