Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Director with strong leadership and technical skills to oversee operations for our enterprise application portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee application support operations, service management (incident, problem, change), and SLA adherence, ensuring high standards of application performance and customer satisfaction.
- Provide management and direction for delivery of enterprise application projects, overseeing timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and staffing across multiple programs and initiatives.
- Direct cross-functional teams to achieve key delivery objectives, maintain application reliability, and scale technology solutions.
- Inform executive leadership through comprehensive status updates, delivery forecasts, and actionable insights which proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and strategic blockers.
- Identify opportunities to optimize delivery processes and recommend scalable enterprise solutions aligned with architectural standards and business goals.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams and other portfolio leaders to maintain strategic alignment, manage dependencies, and govern technology direction.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Application Director or similar executive role with 8+ years leading complex software portfolios.
- Executive-level written and verbal presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, enterprise application platforms, and service management best practices.
- Extensive experience in large-scale program management, resource planning, and delivery governance.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional technical and business teams, driving effective decision-making across competing priorities.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to influence and interact at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in personnel management, policy development, staff training, and organizational leadership.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management, strategic risk management, and stakeholder engagement practices in a dynamic corporate environment.
