SOFTPROM is an international Value Added IT Distributor with over 25 years of experience, expanding rapidly across Europe in cloud and cybersecurity solutions. We work with leading global technology vendors and support partners and end customers in complex B2B projects.
We are looking for a proactive and energetic SDR for Romania, focused on cold calling, outbound prospecting, and generating qualified meetings for our sales team.
Key Responsibilities: Outbound Sales & Lead Generation
- Perform daily outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach) targeting Romanian corporate clients
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities through direct communication with decision makers
- Book qualified meetings for Account Executives / Sales Managers
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects in CRM
Qualification & Sales Support
- Identify customer needs and qualify leads
- Nurture leads through follow-up campaigns until they are sales-ready
- Support senior colleagues in preparing offers, proposals, and follow-up actions
- Work closely with internal teams and vendors to align messaging and campaigns
Market Development
- Research the Romanian market and identify new target accounts and industries
- Collect competitive insights and customer feedback to support strategy
- Participate in online meetings, demos, and vendor campaigns when needed
Requirements
- Fluent Romanian speaker
- English: Upper-Intermediate (B2+)
- 1+ year of experience in SDR / BDR / inside sales / telesales / lead generation (B2B)
- Strong cold calling skills and confidence speaking with decision makers
- Experience working with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
- Interest in cybersecurity, cloud solutions, SaaS, or IT distribution
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Experience selling cybersecurity or cloud solutions
- Knowledge of security domains such as WAF, DLP, SOAR, NAC, SIEM
- Experience with enterprise customers or long sales cycles
- Familiarity with outbound tools (Apollo, Sales Navigator, Outreach, etc.)
