The Configuration Analyst is responsible for reviewing, configuring, and managing SAP sales orders to ensure accuracy and consistency across the organization. The role serves as a central interface between global sales teams, production planning, and internal stakeholders. Once sales order configurations are aligned, production plans are created or adjusted in SAP to reflect the agreed requirements. This position is critical, as downstream departments rely on the correctness and reliability of the provided data.
- Review and manage SAP sales orders to ensure correctness, completeness, and proper configuration.
- Communicate aligned sales order configurations to sales teams worldwide in a clear and structured manner.
- Create, update, and adjust production plans in SAP based on approved sales order configurations.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and consistent information flow.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies or configuration issues in sales orders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of sales order processes and changes.
- Completed commercial or technical education, or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in handling SAP sales orders; experience in production planning is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail combined with a structured and reliable working style.
- Clear and confident communication skills in an international environment.
- High sense of responsibility and ability to work effectively across departments.
- Very good command of English; additional language skills are an advantage.

- Compensation is based on the collective agreement for the metal and electrical industry in Hesse. All overtime is compensated at a higher rate.
