Midwest Behavioral Health Center is launching a new residential program and is seeking a Director of Residential Services to lead its development and day-to-day operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for shaping the structure, culture, and performance of a high-acuity, 24/7 residential environment.

What You’ll Do
- Lead all aspects of 24/7 residential operations, including staffing, safety, and program performance
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team through active coaching, supervision, and support
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, staffing strategy, and resource allocation
- Support the development and implementation of clinical programming aligned with patient needs
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards
- Monitor key performance metrics to drive program outcomes and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in behavioral health or related field
- Active Michigan licensure (LMSW, LPC, LLP, LMFT, or equivalent) with ability to provide supervision
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral healthcare to include adolescent populations
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience
- Experience in residential treatment settings (PRTF, MHBS, or similar preferred)
- Strong operational, organizational, and team leadership skills
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position based in Tecumseh, Michigan. The role supports a 24/7 residential program and requires a visible, flexible, and highly engaged leadership approach.
