You will oversee the preparation, analysis, and review of financial information while driving process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and supporting both short- and long-term financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage an accounting team responsible for financial reporting and daily accounting operations
- Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
- Support internal and external audit processes, including gathering and reviewing required documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide recommendations to leadership on financial objectives, policies, and performance
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, systems, and reporting accuracy
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
- Experience managing financial reporting, audits, and compliance processes
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in accounting systems, financial reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- CPA designation preferred
